I must admit (unfortunately) that I am also a video game player. A lot of people play video games all the time. But I have done something weird that I usuallly don't do. I, an eleven and ten months year old have tried playing Final Fantasy XIII. (Thirteen). I love the game. If you enjoy a challenging fighting game with a great story, this game's for you.

I have a cousin, Kristina Wood, and she is magnificent! She is a massage therapist (a really good one she has a massage table and it is amazing what she can do), artist (I've seen what she can make with any bit of art supplies), musician (her voice is soft and smooth, like a pebble in a clear stream. Her washboard music is incredibly awesome and her other variety of instruments fit her so well), ect. Her talents go beyond whom she seems to be: an ordinary person. But I LOVE her and all that she does! Today was amazing because I got to see her and hang out with her. She lives in my great-grandfather's home which is no longer his, and she gave us a tour! Kristina had painted pretty colors in the rooms. It was fantastic! She even has her own massage room, it is crazy! I love her SO much! Then after the tour we went shopping at Smith's and we both got some stuff. And for lunch we came to our family's house and ate tuna fish sandwiches!!!(They were delicious) Soon after she napped and played mini baseball on our patio with Riley, she went home. But we had so much fun. And if you need a massage, I'll see what Kristina can do. =)
Yesterday morning was my last day in Summer Band and was our concert. We had so much fun playing the songs we've been practicing for the past month! I loved hearing other people play and hearing how I've improved in my percussion abilities. Plus I loved the rice crispy treats Mrs. Anderson gave us afterward. =)

I Hate My Mouth!
I hate my mouth. Or, I guess I should say, I hate my mom's genes. She had to pass them on to me!!!! Braces, surgery, a chain, hurting teeth and gums- all because of my mouth. The surgery sucked. I have never had surgery until now and it was weird. I woke up and I was all dizzy and couldn't walk!!!! It wasn't completely bad. I was actually kind of angry because insurance wouldn't pay for kids older than seven to have anesthesia! I'm almost twelve! (Two months more!!) But still, a lot of kids get braces and stuff around my age and older. So why don't they have this thing figured out where they pay for anesthesia for older kids? It was so unfair.
I have to admit, this Summer has been crazy. My parents did Pickleball and Tennis in the Summer Games (Mom won a silver medal), I've had five sleepover nights with my cousins, painted a giant turtle statue and a little frog statue with my cousins, Dad, Carter and Riley went camping, Mom and I had a girls' night, I've walked with Kassidy (my cousin) from one Grandmother's house to the other, I did Summer Band from nine to ten a.m., rode my bike from my house to my grandma Cathy's house and I can think of so much more!!! It's crazy, but I survive.
And how many people get to say they painted a giant turtle? Well, I do. My cousins, Kassidy and Karina helped me paint a giant statue of a turtle. We were at my grandmother's house and she need the turtle painted so we painted it. It took us hours, but we did it.

Just a suggestion: If you have extremely long nails, cut them! Or you can accidentally scratch your little brother on the face and make him bleed....
Kassidy (my awesome cousin) and I hung out yesterday because my parents went down to St. George to visit the temple and Carter and Riley went to my grandmother's house. Kassidy and I partied and rode bikes and had the greatest time. Get to know your cousins! They rule!!!

A visit from Ohio living friends
Yesterday was an amazing day. A family that we know, the Allens, came to visit us from their grandparents' home in Utah, a few hours away. Here is the list of their family: Lance (father), Lori (mother), Lance jr., Shylee, Hunter, Trapper, Fisher and Rider. They were so much fun. They came by our house and we chatted until Lori said she'd buy us lunch. We got Panda Express and I went to pick it up with them, Lori was excited when she recieved a reuseable Panda bag for buying food over fifty dollars. Our family and the Allens ate together and the food was great! I loved it so much. This was the fortune I got from a fortune cookie: 'Be direct, usually one can accomplish more that way.' Okay....
After we ate we just hung out and talked. Then Lori offered to take me to a movie with her family. We went and saw Toy Story 3. It was hilarious and very cute. Anyone who loved the first and second Toy Stories will love the third! On our way to the movie, Rider in the back touched my hair and whispered to another one of his brothers, "I like her 'cause I touched her hair." Isn't that cute? Then as we were getting out of the car, Rider climbed over the seat and said, "I like you" and he smiled his cute little smile. I might also want to mention that Rider is four years old.
After the movie they, sadly, had to say goodbye and leave. I am so going to miss them. Especially Lori and Hunter. Lori is silly and so fun to mess with and Hunter has been my best friend since the first grade! Isn't that odd? So I had to say goodbye. =( Thanks you guys for coming to visit!

So if you've read my mom's blog you should have read a few little hints that Carter (my little bro) is a video game freak!!!! That is all he wants to do is play video games. At our house we take things called 'turns' which are thirty minutes of video game time. Well when Riley (my littler bro) or Carter don't get a turn at all in one day they throw fits. Silly isn't it. Well I guess I'm not perfect...
Things I want and things I wish I didn't have
So I am finally going to post this correctly....
As titled here are things I want: A cell phone, a dog, a cute pair of shoes I can't find in my size at Payless, an editor and agent to help me publish my book, cheep art supplies, time to be in my control, the ability to fly, a big house, money, my own library, and strong muscles.
And here are a lot of things I wish I didn't have: chores, school, sunburns, disease, sorrow, anger, enemies, mean boys, mold, injuries, and there are so much more things!!!
I tried to make it seem like I wanted more than I hated but it didn't work out....
